Eco - units is a way of re-localizing housing, work and agriculture to provide an acceptable standard of living minimizing use of fossil fuels and reversing negative environmental impacts.

New version in English of basic definition document released

The document gives a definition of an ecounit in a basic framework. The idea is that a group wanting to start their own ecounit can use this document as a basis to set their own goals and visions.
It may also be useful for research, where a definition is needed against which to test the sustainability of various concepts.
